Thank you for choosing to stay at Sparrow Pond Family Campground. We are happy to have you as our guests. The following rules are intended to provide an enjoyable family camping experience for you and your neighbors. Violation of these rules could mean early departure without a refund. Regulations can be modified at any time.

Reservations

Payment in full is due at the time of booking.

Rates

Rates include one family (2 adults and 2 children), one vehicle, and one camping unit. Additional fees apply for more guests, with a maximum of 8 people per site.

Refunds / Cancellations

• Subject to cancellation fee.
• No refunds for weather, illness, or scheduling conflicts.
• No-shows and late cancellations will be charged the remaining balance.

• Holidays – Cabins/Monthly/Hall/Pavilion: Cancel 30+ days before arrival.
• Holidays – Camper Site: Cancel 14+ days before arrival.
• Non-Holidays – Camper Site & Cabins: Cancel 7+ days before arrival.

All refunds exclude administrative or booking fees.

Seasonal/Annual Stays: Non-refundable.

30+ Day Stays:

• 30+ days notice: Full refund less $25 fee
• Less than 30 days: No refund

Weekly/Daily Stays:

• < 7 days: No refund
• 8–14 days: 50% refund
• 15+ days: Full refund less $25 fee

No shows: No refund. Site may be reassigned.

Credit card refunds go back to the original card. Proof required if canceled. Cash/check refunds via corporate check in 10–14 business days.

No refunds after check-in due to weather, rule violations, or disorderly conduct.

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM. Early check-in/late check-out available upon request.

Visitors

Visitors must register at the office and park in the visitor lot. Daily visitors must leave by 9:00 PM. No guest pets allowed.

Children

• Children/teens must be supervised at all times.
• Bikes on roads only. Helmets required under 12.

Speed Limit

5 MPH. Drive carefully and watch for children.

Vehicles

• Display parking pass.
• No parking on roads or grass.
• Extra cars at management’s discretion.
• No trailers or boats at sites.

Quiet Hours

• 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• No bike riding after dark
• Minors must be at their campsite
• Noise should not carry off-site

Pet Rules

• Vaccination & rabies proof required
• Leash max 6 ft. No tethering unattended
• Must be walked by responsible person
• Do not leave pets in RVs unattended
• No excessive barking or aggressive pets
• Clean up required
• No pets in pool, pond, restrooms, buildings, or public areas

Mail Deliveries

No mail accepted for non-seasonal campers. Make alternate arrangements.

Campfires

• Small fires only. Do not move fire rings
• Burn wood only, no trash
• No cutting or damaging trees. Firewood available at store
• Do not leave fire unattended

Sink (Grey) Water

Dump grey water at designated station only. PA law prohibits ground dumping.

Camper Courtesies

• Use only your site’s table/fire ring
• Do not walk through others’ sites
• Bag and dispose of trash properly

Prohibited Activities

• No dish/laundry in restrooms
• No mats/carpets on grass
• No vehicle washing
• No trenching or digging

Swimming Pool

Swim at your own risk. No lifeguard. Under 16 must be with adult.

Fishing Pond

Catch and release only. No swimming/wading.

Clotheslines

Not permitted at campsites.

Prohibited Items

• Fireworks
• Firearms
• Unlicensed vehicles
• Dirt bikes / Go-carts / Mini bikes / ATVs
• Hoverboards / Skateboards

Personal Golf Carts

• Electric only with proof of insurance
• Drivers must be 16+ with license
• No reckless driving or noise
• Lights required after dark. No driving during quiet hours
• Violation = eviction without refund

Fine Print

• No inappropriate or indecent behavior – violators removed without refund
• Campground not liable for loss, theft, or accidents
• We reserve the right to refuse service
